Double Crunch Granola Bars

Ingredients
* 4 cups Quick Quaker Oats, uncooked (or 4-1/2 cups Old Fashioned)
* 1-1/2 cups chopped nuts
* 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
* 3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
* 1/2 cup honey or corn syrup
* 1 teaspoon vanilla ( I used 2 teaspoons of vanilla )
* 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine all ingredients; mix well. Press firmly into well greased 15-1/2 x 10-1/2 inch jelly roll pan. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Cool thoroughly; cut into bars.
